حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي، وَلاَ تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي ‏"‏

English translation

Narrated Jabir:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Name yourselves after me, but do not call yourselves by my Kuniya
