What Happens in a Free Trial Quran Class?

A free trial class is a chance for you to meet the teacher, and for the teacher to understand where you or your child are starting from. There's no test to pass and nothing to prepare.

Before the lesson

You'll receive a time confirmed in your local time zone and a link to join. A laptop or tablet with a camera and headphones is ideal — see how to prepare for your first online Quran class.

The first few minutes: getting to know you

The teacher will ask about goals — learning to read, improving Tajweed, memorizing, or understanding — and, for children, about age, school and any previous learning.

Level check

The teacher gently checks the current level:

• Complete beginners: recognising a few Arabic letters.
• Some reading: reading a short passage, perhaps Al-Fatiha.
• Fluent readers: reciting so the teacher can hear Tajweed strengths and gaps.

A real mini-lesson

You'll get a taste of how lessons work — a first Qaida lesson, a Tajweed rule, or a few verses corrected live.

Your plan

At the end, the teacher suggests a course, a realistic number of lessons per week, and what progress to expect. See how long it takes to learn to read the Quran.
